Grilled Fruit Kabobs with Date Swirls and Balsamic Glaze

Recommended Swirls Flavor:

Cinnamon Date, Banana Date, Blueberry Date, Moroccan Spice


Fruit Kabobs

24 Darious Date Swirls

2 Cups Watermelon, cut into large cubes

2 Cups Cantaloupe, cut into large cubes

2 Cups Pineapple, cut into large cubes or triangles

8 Strawberries, whole with stems removed

Maple Syrup

Olive Oil Spray or Coconut Oil Spray

Balsamic Glaze

2 Cups Balsamic Vinegar

1/2 Cup Brown Sugar or Honey



Balsamic Glaze

Place the brown sugar and balsamic vinegar in a saucepan over medium heat until the sugar completely dissolves.

Once dissolved, turn heat to high and bring to a boil.

Turn the heat to low and simmer for twenty minutes or until the liquid has reduced by 1/2 and coats the back of a wooden spoon.

Let cool completely.

Fruit Kabobs

 Pre-heat grill to high.

Arrange fruit and date swirls on metal or wooden skewers - 2-3 pieces of each fruit and four date swirls per skewer. Please note, if using wooden skewers, pre-soak in water to prevent burning.

Spray each skewer with oil spray and then lightly brush them with maple syrup.

Place the skewers on the grill and grill till lightly browned, approximately 2-3 minutes per side.

Drizzle the balsamic glaze over the kabobs, and relax with a healthy, refreshing, dessert!
